Camilla Åkrans has been part of LUNDLUND since the agency was first established. In this way, the story of how she became one of the world’s most renowned fashion photographers is intertwined with the agency’s own history. Based between Stockholm and New York where she has collaborated with some of the most prestigious fashion houses, including Hermès, Chloé, Missoni and Blumarine. She regularly contributes to magazines such as Vogue, Porter and Harper’s Bazaar.
Her style is instantly recognisable as she has the ability to capture the essence of the people she photographs, especially women. For this reason, she has also been widely exhibited across the world. Her portfolio includes portraits of Rihanna, Nicole Kidman, Miley Cyrus and Julianne Moore to mention a few.
In 2010, Camilla Åkrans was one of only three Swedish photographers to be included in FASHION, the opening exhibition at Fotografiska, Sweden’s first international museum of photography. She has also been part of a number of prestigious exhibitions around the world, including Lady Dior - as seen by in Hong Kong (2013), Culture Chanel at DDP in Seoul (2014), amFAR ART for LOVE in New York, in benefit for AIDS FRIEZE in London (2016), and Photo Vogue Festival in Milano (2016) and HARPER’S BAZAAR, First in Fashion in Paris (2020).
