Marcus Ohlsson discovered his natural aptitude for photography early in life, taking photos of his group of friends while they were skating and hanging out. Gradually, he began exploring other subject matters, and quickly found a way to transform his many different sources of inspiration – art, design and fashion – into photography.
Marcus Ohlsson’s work is defined by his preference for using natural light and working on location whenever possible. As he enjoys giving the models freedom to experiment and to explore their own personal expressions, his images are also characterized by a particular energy and strong sense of presence. Marcus Ohlsson has been published internationally in magazines such as Vogue Japan, Vogue China and Porter. His commercial clients include Estée Lauder, Uniqlo, MAC Cosmetics and H&M.
