Frida Marklund first found her way to fashion through documentary photography. Because of this, her aesthetics are marked by a natural, almost authentic quality, as well as a clear sense of presence and spontaneity, not often found in fashion photography. For many years, she shared her time between New York and Stockholm. This experience has informed her style of photography, making it decidedly contemporary and fashion-forward. With a BA in Media Studies, she bases her work on a thorough research process, ensuring a well-planned, complete concept for each project. Frida Marklund divides her time equally between menswear and with womenswear and has lengthy experience with both creating advertisement campaigns and fashion editorials. Clients include Interview magazine, Vogue Russia, H&M, Glamour France, Glamour US, & Other Stories, Adidas, Levi’s, and Arket.
